About Milestone Driving Academy

 

Founded by Chad Moore, Milestone Driving Academy provides behind-the-wheel instruction for teen drivers across the South Metro, including Eagan, Apple Valley, Rosemount, Burnsville, and surrounding communities.

Chad brings more than three decades of experience working with students and families as a teacher, coach, instructional leader, and school bus driver. Those roles have shaped the way he works with students: calm, steady, patient, and focused on helping each student build confidence over time.

​

His driver education experience includes classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training with a larger local driving school. That experience helped him see the importance of clear communication, thoughtful scheduling, and instruction that feels personal rather than transactional.

Chad started Milestone Driving Academy to build something more closely connected to his own community — a program where families are known, lessons are planned with purpose, and students are supported over time.

Milestone Driving Academy was built around that experience: structured, personal, and intentional from the first consultation through the final lesson.

A Structured, Thoughtful Process

 

Learning to drive is not approached as a set of isolated lessons. It is a process that develops over time, with clear direction and consistent communication. The relationship begins with a parent consultation, where we establish a clear path forward. Together, we review permit timing, discuss expectations, and build a personalized lesson plan based on each student’s experience, schedule, and goals.

Families work with the same instructor throughout the entire process — from consultation through all lessons — with clear communication along the way. This consistency provides a clearer understanding of each student’s progress and creates a more comfortable, focused learning environment. Instruction is calm, structured, and built around clear expectations, helping students develop confidence through steady, purposeful progression.

A More Personal Approach

 

Milestone Driving Academy operates in full compliance with Minnesota Department of Public Safety standards and maintains all required licensure, insurance, and bonding. To maintain a high level of instruction and communication, enrollment is intentionally limited. Each student receives focused, one-on-one instruction within a program designed for long-term development — not simply completion of required hours.
